In June 2011, Ethan and Ling led five Singaporean photographers on a wild river safari in the tropical jungles of Borneo! The Borneo Pygmy Elephants, the smallest species of elephants in the world, are not only endangered, they are also endemic species to Borneo. It’s definitely a privilege to be able to witness heart-warming scene like this as these endangered animals fight for their survival on a day to day basis.
The Plain Pygmy Squirrel, one of the smallest species of squirrel in the world and the smallest in Borneo!
This amazing dive sequence of a Collared Kingfisher taking a dip at the river was shot with the Nikon D3 at the high continuous shooting mode of 11fps.
Oriental Darter, an endangered water bird that is extinct elsewhere in Malaysia. It’s also affectionately known as the snake bird.

kef q900 Thank you :) Most of the photos have gone through some cropping and leveling that's all. Only the kingfisher sequence shot has photoshop work done to composite 11 images together.
